Of course, we at the Psychosomatic Clinic want you as a user to have good insight into how we handle your personal information. Below are some questions and answers about how we work to make you feel confident that your personal information will not be misused.
What do you use my information for?
We store and use (process) the personal information you provide to us, such as name, address and e-mail address, only to manage the customer relationship and to improve and facilitate your use of the service. Your information will never be disclosed to anyone else for marketing or other use without our prior consent.
Where is the information stored?
We always ensure a high level of security for processing and storage, regardless of where this takes place. We currently have our servers within the EU. Should we choose to store information or initiate cooperation outside the EU, we will ensure that the current supplier complies with current regulations and that all safety requirements that we ourselves comply with are complied with.
What rights do I have to my information?
As a customer with us, you can contact us at any time to take part of your personal information. You also have the right to have the information deleted provided that we do not need it to fulfill our obligations or for legal reasons.
In cases where a school, municipality or other legal entity has signed an agreement with us, we follow the instructions that apply in accordance with the agreement on personal data that has been signed. This means that we can refer you to the party to be considered the principal.
How secure is my information with you?
We ensure that both physical and digital security is always high. In the services, administrators and teachers can access personal information about the users included in the agreements. Personal information about users is only available to PS employees whose work tasks require such access. They must use encrypted transmission with high security to access personal information. In addition, we have an authorization system that only provides access to information to those who have duties that require it. This applies to passwords and electronic keys for accessing the services, as well as the services we use to manage our users. All computers with access are kept up to date and protected by antivirus / malware software.
How long is the information stored?
If you have shopped directly from us, we store your contact information and payment method in accordance with current regulations and security requirements to provide continued service to you and answer questions, etc. If we act as a personal data assistant, we follow the rules regarding storage of information specified in the agreement between us and you.
Who can access the information about me?
Personal information about Psychosomatic's users and customers is handled and only accessed by Psychosomatic's authorized personnel. As a teaching assistant customer with us, you as a customer can choose which of your users have access to personal information about your other users. It is not possible to access information about other customers unless such direct access is given according to an invitation. Of course, users' personal information is also never shared openly.
How do users accept your handling of this information?
When you create an account, or when you log in to the service for the first time, you will be asked to accept our terms. This is necessary to enable the proper handling of personal data and to ensure the protection required for the handling. If the terms are not accepted, you can not use the service either.
What then applies when we act as a personal data assistant?
As a large part of the users' personal data is handled and stored in our services as a result of agreements signed via its principals, we are to be regarded as personal data assistants. If this is the case, an agreement on personal data must be drawn up. When we process personal data, as a personal data assistant, we must comply with applicable law and the restrictions and conditions of processing that follow from the assistant agreement.
Who should I contact for further questions on this topic with you?
If you have more questions, you can contact us at post@psykosomatisk.no and we will help you. You can also contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you have any views on our handling of personal information.
